Society Manager
The American Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AIAI) is building a network of professional societies that bring together learning, research, governance, and collaboration in emerging fields. These societies operate via ShareMax, AIAI’s Digital Society OS.
We are seeking Society Managers to support the development and day-to-day operations of these societies. This role works closely with AIAI leadership and plays a key role in ensuring that each society remains structured, active, and engaging for its members.
Key Responsibilities
Society Development and Leadership Support
- Assist Executive Directors/ AIAI management in identifying and onboarding board members for new and existing societies
- Support the setup, structure, and ongoing management of societies on AIAI learning platform
- Work closely with leadership to ensure consistency and quality across all societies
Content and Platform Management
- Upload and organize content including courses, articles, announcements, and resources
- Ensure content is accurate, updated, and aligned with the society’s objectives
Examinations and Learning Support
- Assist in managing assessments, assignments, and certification-related processes
- Coordinate with instructors and leadership for smooth delivery of learning programs
- Monitor learner progress and help resolve basic platform or content-related issues
Community Engagement
- Create and manage discussions, posts, and updates to keep members engaged
- Encourage participation across learning, networking, and collaboration spaces
- Support the development of an active and professional community environment
Role Details
- Full-time, remote position
- Work hours aligned with US Eastern Time (EST) (mandatory)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills (mandatory)
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Some relevant experience in content management, learning platforms, or community management is preferred
- Interest in artificial intelligence, professional learning, and digital communities
