He developed a model for understanding disruptive innovation asset values based upon their role and performance potential in reindustrialization economics. Specifically, his model has the following features:
Multidimensional: A firm’s ability to innovate and then drive shareholder value from its innovation requires automation and creativity at all critical points in the value chain. Knowing, measuring, and analyzing such variables is key to studying the performance potential of disruptive innovations.
Dynamic Valuation: Static valuation models are no longer adequate representations of a firm’s valuation. Professor Naqvi’s dynamic valuation modeling includes behavioral, narrative, and geopolitical developments.
Multi-model: Professor Naqvi deploys a multi-model approach based upon complex adaptive systems to model automation dynamics and disruptive innovation of a firm.
Professor Naqvi’s work deploys deep learning to study advanced models of financial engineering, portfolio management, and asset management. He uses a unique approach. Specifically, Professor Naqvi’s model closes the gap between operating decisions of a firm (for example Supply Chain Management) and its financial decision-making (for example, Capital and Capital Structure). Such models can be used to study the performance and competitive dynamics of companies, industries, and national economies.
Al Naqvi pioneered the development of original body of knowledge in various application areas of artificial intelligence – inventing various methods and models.
